Mr. Buss has been in the financial services and new venture strategy business for over 25 years. Via his leadership as Managing Partner of G&Co. Mr. Buss and his team has helped develop numerous concepts and technologies to accelerate clients and companies forward. More recently the firm has been focused on mobility, including Mobility Innovation Centres in California, Colorado and outside the U.S., plus Innovation Fund Management focused on the incubation and acceleration of mobility technologies.
Mr. Buss received his MBA from University of Chicago Booth, where he was also a Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneur, and his BS, magna cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Previously, Hackmann served as a Partner at Veremonte, an international investment and holding company based in London where he supported the development of Formula E.
Prior to Veremonte, he spent twelve years in various leadership roles with Siemens, including responsibility for the organizational development, roll out and management of Siemens’ strategic initiatives related to cities and infrastructure development.
